วิธีการขันเกลียวเข้าไม้ให้ทำดังนี้
1. เตรียมนัท ตัวเมียไว้ 2 ตัว และ ประแจปากตาย 2 ตัว
2. นัท ตัวแรก หมุนเข้า ด้านเกลียวละเอียด 2-3 เซนติเมตร
3. นัท ตัวที่สอง หมุนเข้าตามเข็ม ลงไป…
4. เมื่อนัทสองตัวชนกัน ให้ขันนัททั้งสอง สวนทางกัน ให้มันเบียดกันเองแน่นๆ
5. เมื่อนัทเบียดกันแน่นแล้ว เราจะได้หัวไว้จับเกลียวหยาบให้ขันลงไม้ได้เสมือนโบลท์หัวหกเหลี่ยม
คุณก็จะสามารถขันเกลียวหยาบลงวัสดุได้โดยง่ายแล้ว
เมื่อเสร็จงาน ก็คลายนัทตัวเมียสองตัวที่เบียดกันออก ถอดเก็บ เป็นอันเสร็จสิ้น

How to Screw into Wood: Here’s how to screw into wood using this method:
1. Prepare two nuts and two open-end wrenches.
2. Screw the first nut onto the fine-threaded end, about 2-3 centimeters in.
3. Screw the second nut clockwise until it meets the first nut.
4. Once the two nuts meet, tighten them against each other by turning them in opposite directions with the wrenches. This will lock them together firmly.
5. Now that the nuts are tightly secured, you’ve created a “head” on the coarse thread, allowing you to drive it into the wood just like a hex-head bolt.
You can now easily screw the coarse thread into your material.
When you’re finished, simply loosen the locked nuts, remove them, and you’re done.
